Arts in The Park: August Long Weekend: Friday, July 31st-Monday, August 2nd, 2010:

Come and join our resident Artist in Residence and Heritage Staff during our annual celebration of arts in the wild. Workshops will be available for children and adults. The children's Arts Fair will be held during the day on Saturday and Sunday on the lawn in front of the Log Cabin Nature Centre. This is a very popular event and we look forward to hosting it every year. For further information, please call Susan Bourne, Park Naturalist at (807) 929-3141 ext. 228 or e-mail at susan.bourne@ontario.ca.

Our beloved former Naturalist Shirley Peruniak, Park Librarian and Atikokan's Centennial Museum's Curator enjoy a watercolour workshop during the 2009 Arts in the Park weekend. Thank you to our Artist in Residence, June Hills, for providing such a wonderful event.

Assistant Park Naturalist, Tanya, demostrates the art of dream catcher weaving.
