One of the main events introduced to celebrate Quetico's Centennial, the Quetico Canoe Quest commenced in 2006 and challenged paddlers to travel to all six entry stations and collect the Quetico Canoe Quest crests. Upon completion, the Quester's were required to e-mail or mail a photograph of their completed banner (received upon registration) with their six crests. The last day to complete the Quest is on Wednesday, September 30th, 2009. Thus far, 46 individuals have completed their quest. If you have completed the Quest and have yet to send your photograph, please do so to one of the following addresses: susan.bourne@ontario.ca or Quetico Canoe Quest, Quetico Provincial Park, 108 Saturn Ave., Atikokan, ON, P0T 1C0. The enthusiasm of the paddlers has been amazing and Quetico's Staff would like to thank everyone who participated. We would like to extend our gratitude to the following sponsors of the Quetico Canoe Quest: Souris River Canoes, Friends of Quetico Park, Fresh Air Experience, The Wilderness Supply Company, The Ski Haus and Chaltrek Ostrom Outdoors.
