Beaten Path Nordic Trails is an active cross country ski club in the Atikokan/Quetico area. With the help of Friends of Quetico and many members and volunteers, the Beaten Path has developed some of the best cross-country trails in Ontario. There are over 70km of diversified trails north of Quetico Park boundary and through-out the Dawson Trail Campgrounds.

The Littlbug is a lightweight collapsible stove that allows a quick cooking fire from burning the twigs and woodchips found scattered across the ground at most campsites. This is a good way to lessen your impact on the park's environment. It is recommended by some experienced Quetico paddlers and will be field tested by Quetico interior staff this summer.
